"Midwinter Reflections -- on Standing on the Side of Love" 
Laelia Tawnamaia will be the guest in the pulpit.  Laelia graduated recently from one of our two Unitarian Universalist seminaries and hopes to receive fellowship from the UUA to serve as an official UU minister.  She lives in Marshfield.

Sunday, February 5
"Hands Across the Ocean -- Rwanda today and imperatives to becoming global citizens in the 21st Century." 
Presenter: Paij Wadley-Bailey, MA Social Ecology / Masters in Education, a member of Vermont Women's International League for Peace & Freedom (WILPF) for the past decade, is liaison to Rwanda/WILPF and has made month-long trips there for the past 8 years. Paij assists in the convening of a 3-day WILPF Congress, teaches English Language Learning in the small village of Gerimpuhwe and brings youth to Rwanda for independent studies and to be engaged in voluntary peace-related projects. She organized the Solar Cookers for Rwanda project in which this congregation participated.

"The Power of the Heart"
On the tail of Valentine’s Day, let’s explore the ways of the heart including research on what has come to be called “heart knowledge.” Rev. M’ellen Kennedy will lead the worship service.
